Hume Care handles sensitive health details — medical history, prescription records, body composition data — so this policy is written to make sense on a normal read-through. Here's what gets collected, the reasoning behind it, and how much control stays yours.

• Health information shared during your assessment — medical history, current medications, weight, BMI, and relevant conditions — necessary for safe prescribing.
• Payment details processed by a PCI-compliant third-party processor. Full card numbers never touch Hume Health's own servers.
• Anything you share while reaching out to our clinical or support team.

Collected through the app and connected devices

• Medication tracking logs and dosage records.
• Food and nutrition entries you choose to log yourself.
• Body composition figures from your monthly 3D scans.
• Progress measurements and weight entries over time.
• App usage patterns — aggregated and stripped of identifying detail to improve the product.

2. What This Information Actually Does

• Confirms eligibility and supports a physician-reviewed prescription matched to your health profile.
• Gets medication and supportive therapies shipped to your address.
• Tracks how your program is progressing and flags where treatment should shift.
• Powers clinical support through the app and consultation calls.
• Processes payments and handles refund or guarantee requests.
• Feeds anonymized, aggregated analysis used to improve the Hume Care program and the Hume Health app.
• Sends transactional messages (confirmations, shipping updates, program adjustments) and, only with your consent, relevant health content.

3. Extra Care Around Your Health Data

Medical and health information gathered through Hume Care exists solely to deliver and improve your clinical care. It's never sold to advertisers or other third parties for commercial gain. Internal access is limited to clinical and operational staff with a genuine reason to see it.

Where relevant, Hume Care follows HIPAA requirements governing how protected health information is handled.

4. When Information Moves Beyond Us

Your data only travels outward in a narrow set of situations:

• Clinical partners — licensed prescribers and pharmacies who need your health information to fill your prescription, each held to strict confidentiality obligations.
• Service providers — technology, payment, and logistics vendors processing data strictly on our behalf under formal data agreements.
• Legal requirements — where a court order, law, or regulation leaves no other option.
• Business transitions — a merger or acquisition, with these same privacy commitments carried through unchanged.

5. How It's Kept Secure

Every bit of data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Systems run in secure, HIPAA-compliant environments, with access limited to authorized staff and reviewed regularly. Anyone affected by a security incident posing real risk to their data gets notified promptly.

6. What You're Entitled To

You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal and health data whenever you'd like. Email privacy@humecare.com to act on any of that. Marketing messages always carry a one-click unsubscribe. Requests get handled within 30 days, though some records (prescription history, for instance) may need to stick around longer under medical record-keeping rules.

7. Cookies On This Site

humecare.net uses cookies for session handling, remembering your preferences, and gathering aggregated site analytics. Your browser settings let you manage cookies directly, though turning them off may affect certain site and app features.

8. Regarding Minors

Hume Care is built for adults 18 and up. We don't set out to collect personal information from anyone younger. Suspect a minor's information has ended up in our system? Reach out right away and we'll take care of removing it.

9. Updates To This Policy

This policy gets revisited from time to time, with every revision reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Anything substantial gets communicated directly to active members by email or in-app notice before it takes effect.
